Description

The BA-2000H hard film wrapper is designed for high-speed, high-efficiency, general packaging applications. As with all GGA Packaging AccuWrap™ systems, the BA-2000H provides the very best of electronic features to give you control of both your production and maintenance. As you can see from the long list of product features and options, the BA-2000H can be tailored to solve your unique packaging challenge. And, because it is designed and built using our Building Block Modularity™, the BA-2000H can be adapted to future packaging challenges, without requiring an investment in new equipment.

Used for various packaging applications, the BA-2000H will accommodate hi/lo polyethylene film, polypropylene, and many laminates from 0.65 mil up to 2 mil. The powered unwind option allows the use of thin, delicate film, keeping film tension at a minimum while providing reliable operation. The film width may be up to 12 inches depending on the item being wrapped; a 24-inch width model is also available.

GGA’s modular conveyor incorporates a carrier chain and the center lug pushers carry each product into the film tube. The modular construction allows easy movement and the ability to change the conveyor style for different applications. Each fin wheel has an individual servo drive and motor allowing programmable film draw for precision tension and tracking control. The tension on the film between the two fin wheels is adjustable with a simple setting on the control panel. The crimper head and knife settings are made with built-in adjustments without shims and while hot.

The simple machine design and rugged, modular construction keeps the ownership cost low, ensuring fast payback. The Model BA-2000H provides a low-cost, compact size, and flexible system, ideal for applications across the packaging industry.
